The Holy Spirit prophesied what would be taking place RIGHT NOW nearly two thousand years ago–and it is almost scary how on-point He is! Last time, we saw what the Holy Spirit promised would be taking place on the earth in the ‘last of the last days,’ which will be immediately before Jesus returns to catch up His Church. In this second part of our two-part series on 2 Timothy 3, we finally get some detailed instructions on how to not only navigate the end times successfully, but how to flow in them victoriously, right in the middle of God’s will for your life even if the world around you is falling apart on every front.
What does the Bible say about the “last days?” When are the “last days” supposed to begin, anyway? It might surprise you to find out that the “last days” began on the first Pentecost immediately following Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection! That means you and I have been living in the last days our entire lives! But how specific does the Bible get about the current day and age? The passage in 2 Timothy 3 is one of the most detailed accounts of history written in advance in the entire Word of God. It is my deepest prayer that you are encouraged and empowered by this second episode in a two-part series about the specific warnings and instructions God gives His people living in the last of the last days.
