Did you know that hearing God’s voice requires effort on our part? We aren’t working our way up to some level of spirituality; no, that’s not it. But it is important to realize that we have something to do with the equation. God desires to speak to us, but are we tuned in and listening? Are we constructing our life so that we can be constantly tuned in to his still, small voice? Indeed, we do have something to do with hearing God’s voice.
I want to encourage you and teach you from the Word of God that faith–that is, true Bible faith–is required when hearing God’s voice. We need to learn how to hear Him! Hearing God isn’t like listening to the radio. There is going to be some faith and effort on your part.
