This morning, my shower had almost no water pressure. It was like standing under a drizzle, and I began going through the list of all the things that could have caused the low pressure. A bad regulator? Low city water pressure? Something with the hot water heater? Thankfully, it was none of the above. I found out later that my wife had started running the washing machine right before I hopped in the shower.
Limited resources! When I think about the physics of the water pressure in my house, I see that we have a finite amount of pressure available that must be distributed among all the different types of appliances, showers, etc. that we need at any given time. The water pressure I have access to is limited, and there’s nothing I can do to change that. This creates an awareness of resource management, where our family must be mindful of how we allocate our limited resources. The same can be said of your finances, time, or any other limited resource.
But anything that comes from God is not a limited resource. Time that He gives you can be (and often must be) multiplied supernaturally to get the job done. We are citizens of a country where there is no such thing as limited resources.
The same is true of hearing God’s voice! Connection with Him should never be placed in the same category as any fixed or limited resource that you can imagine. Today’s podcast is all about helping you shift your perspective so you can hear what God is saying to you. There is no limited access to conversation with God!
